How we verify reviews

Every review on Toothfully is linked to a real dental appointment. Here’s how.

Invited reviews

Practices on our Verified Reviews plan send us their appointment list: a patient’s name, email address and appointment date. We email each patient one invitation with a private link. Only that link can be used to review that visit, and only once.

Practices must invite every patient they see. They can’t choose who gets an invitation based on whether they expect a good review.

Reviews sent to us directly

Any patient can review any practice, whether or not the practice uses Toothfully. We ask for proof of the appointment, such as a booking confirmation, an appointment card or a receipt. We use it only to check the visit and delete it once the review is decided.

Screening

A person reads every review before it’s published. We publish genuine reviews whether they’re positive or negative. We don’t publish reviews that include personal or medical details about someone else, abuse, discrimination, advertising, or content that isn’t about the patient’s own experience. Our review policy has the full rules.

What practices can and can’t do

• Practices can reply publicly to any review.
• Practices can’t edit, hide or remove reviews, and paying us doesn’t change which reviews appear.
• Nobody is paid or rewarded for leaving a review.
